## Welcome to Oculoris

**Oculoris** (*ock-you-LOR-is*) is a daily 2-minute vision exercise app*.* It turns evidence-based vision therapy, sports vision training, and eye-fatigue relief into short, gamified sessions you actually look forward to. Meet **Ocu**, our slow-loris mascot — your guide through every session.

### Why it exists

You train your body. You train your mind. But your eyes — the sense you lean on more than any other — rarely get a workout. Hours of screen time shrink your blink rate, lock your focus near, and tire the muscles that move and focus your eyes.

Oculoris gives those muscles a daily workout: 2 minutes, backed by real research, and built to be fun.

### What it trains

35 exercises across 8 vision domains:

| Domain | What it does |
| -------------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Oculomotor control** | Fast, accurate eye movements — the foundation of reading and scanning |
| **Vergence** | Eye teaming — both eyes working as one |
| **Accommodation** | Your eye's autofocus — near↔far flexibility |
| **Peripheral awareness** | Wide-angle vision for sports and safety |
| **Speed & reaction** | Process what you see, faster |
| **Eye health & recovery** | Blinking, tear film, and the 20-20-20 rule |
| **Cognitive-visual integration** | Attention, memory, and dual-tasking |

1. **Choose your journey** — kids, athletes, or adults

3. **Build your streak** — earn XP, gems, and eyes; unlock skins, challenges, and weekly divisions
4. **Watch it compound** — small daily reps add up to measurable gains in control, comfort, and speed

### Backed by science, not fads

Oculoris was designed by an optometrist and is grounded in **25+ peer-reviewed studies** across 8 vision domains. Every exercise traces to published clinical research.

### What Oculoris is *not*

Oculoris is **eye fitness, not medical treatment.** It doesn't diagnose, treat, or cure any condition — and it's not a substitute for a comprehensive eye exam. Think of it as a gym for your eyes.
